I need to know for sure if my tractor is a 530 so I can order some parts for it. I was told that it was a "500-something from around 1963". It has a four-cylinder gas engine, triple-range drive (4-speed), wide front end, eagle hitch, hand clutch on the left. There are no numbers on the tool box. A nameplate on the right side of the engine does not appear to have a model number but it has a serial number of 2023061.
What is the difference between a 530 and a 530CK?
I think that there is a voltage regulator in front of the battery. Was this originally a 12 volt tractor with a generator?
Thank you all so much for the help.

Hi Dave, The 530 info is endless, I've learned enough to identify my 1961 530 gas Utility tractor which is a 540H. The "4" stands for gas engine. "H" (as far as I know) is for highway speed 4th gear. "541" would be a gas powered General Purpose tractor. This is all true but doesn't apply to all 530's.
The archives have many dicussions about 530 idenification and the book: "Illustrated Buyer's Guide Case Tractors" by Peter Letourneau is available on this site.
500's had 6 cyliner engines
The biggest difference for me with 530 & 530CK was the loader and hoe, Model#31 or model#32.
The basic tractors share many of the same parts.
Best wishes..Dennis...grandpahoov@yahoo.com
