I am looking at both a 1212 and a 1290 with loaders. I think they are both about 60 hp and from the early - mid 1980s, but not sure.

Any info, problems, things I should watch out for, approximate value for these loader tractors would be appreciated.

Thanks, Grant

The 1290 replaced the 990/995 and is 52+/- hp, vintage early 80's. 1212 is 65hp, has a 3 speed power shift and dates from the 70's. The 1210 (regular trans version of 1212) became the 1390. I love a 1210 but am not fond of either the 1212 or the 1290. Give the choices at hand and prices I'd go with the higher hp 1212.

I sold a 1210 with a Case 56L loader about a month ago for $7000. It was pretty rough, had a couple of burnt valves. Sold a nice 1410 w/o a loader and a recent o.h. for $6500.
