I'm parting out an 800 case and need to know if the power steering gearbox and the hydraulic pump will interchange with an early model 830.I also need to know if the radiators are the same. Thanks in advance Dave

Dave, Is the 800 a Diesel C-O-M ? If so, what are you going to do with the complete Engine, radiator, fuel tank, starter, ect? I'd like to consider converting my early 830 Gas to a Diesel.

Dave, I believe that the gearbox will interchange with 830 models built through May 1961. The hoses are routed on the right side of the tractor on the later ones. The pump should be the same through January 1960 of production, being mounted on the LH side of engine. After the pump was switched to RH mounting, I don't know if it continued to be the same housing with only different mounting brackets.

Dave,

Can't help you at all with your question. But I'm restoring a 700 and need the following: seat, grille screens, fender, maybe a rear rim, battery cover, radiator cap. Do you have any of the above in good condition? Where are you located?

I'm sure one of the experts can answer your question. I believe the 400, 700, and 800 were somewhat interchangeable, but not the X30's. Good luck.

Thanks,

Tim

Tim,

I can help you with some of that stuff. Email me and we can discuss it. I have some 830 parts that may fit what you need. We are in NE Ohio
