I have two DC's I'm thinking of selling. Both are 1952 models, one with eagle hitch, one without but I have one for it and an extra drawbar. The first I have never tried to start, the second I use it to pull a 7' JD drag disk. The first is straight gasoline setup, the second is dual-fuel. Both need paint. any ideas on worth of the two? thanks

I purchased three DC's within the past year, Indiana and Illinois locations, all through ebay or the forum, one with a running engine, no fenders, decent tin hood tin, missing grill, but small block crack and blown head gasket (had been built for pulling) Eagle hitch, and no fenders, 1954 with foot clutch for $450. Another, 1953 with hand clutch, rusted base on fenders, good hood tin on hood, Eagle hitch, stuck engine for $630. Both had poor tires but held air. Then I purchased a third 1954, Eagle hitch, completely rebuilt, except paint, new rods, pistons, sleeves, head, water pump, new radiator core, etc, new clutch rebuilt brakes and hydralics, battery holder, lights, guages, all new, complete tin work, fenders rusted at base but repairable, new 15.5-38 tires and new rear rims. $2,150. So, there is a range: $2,150 to $450. BTW, they guy who had the good one showed me the receipts, he had more than $2,000 in the engine.
