Add a hydraulic circuit to Case 830?

I'd like to add one or more hydraulic circuits to a Case 830, so that I can run such things as a post pounder, disc, cultivator, dozer blade or grain grinder, without having to disconnect on of the circuits of my front-end-loader.

I think, but am not sure, that I can put a pipe into the pressure side of the pump on the top of the valve housing. Since one of the items I want to run is a hydraulic motor, I think I also need to plumb a line to the sump, but I have no idea where I might put it.

Has anyone tried this? Any pointers?

Thanks, Larry

Larry Need To Know If 830 Is Eagle Hitch Or Draft-o-matic. Either One You Can Use Your P.T.O. Shaft To Run Hyd. Pump & Pull Oil From Hyd. Resivore To Pump & To A Control Valve. If Pump Flow Is Greater Than Orbital Motor, Go To 1370 Parts Book And Get Flow Control Valve. Brent Behner

Here's an updae to my question. I was in the Case place today, and asked the Service guy the same question. He basically said that there was no way to tap into the pressure side of the existing pump, but did come up with what I feel is a better solution to the problem.

He suggested using electrically operated valves to redirect an existing circuit to another function. He mentioned that a lot of folks have done it, and that there used to be kits available to add cicuits this way. Operation becomes simple.. press a switch (or not press it) and use the existing lever to actuate. Thew switch press directs the flow.

Brent, I don't think it's either. I know it doesn't have an Eagle Hitch, and I am assuming that 'Draft-o-matic' refers to the automatic depth adjustments for an Eagle Hitch.

I figured I could use a hydraulic pump driven off the PTO, but was hoping to be ble to tap into both the pressure side of the pump and the reservoir.

Thanks for responding, Larry
