can't match serial number

finally found the serial number on the block, now i can't match it to a model or year , serial number = 724700525 help

Thats a part number. Serial numbers are only 7 digits. I think from the previous discussions you have a VAI model especially since there wasn't the number on the block, left side, next to where it bolts to the transmission. Go to the tractor photos and do a search on Case VAI and you should see some that looks like yours. Some of the guys with parts books should be able to tell you what numbers to check to get the year closer.
