Hey pullers - what HP would you expect from a good running DC with 4 1/16" M&W flattops, 5505 heads, AC Delco ignition w/ hot coil, and re-jetted carb (everything else stock). I'm finishing my DC-4 resto/rebuild, just want to know what to expect. Thanks for the help.

CJ, Carb was done by Motec, bowel reworked, larger jetting, larger venturi. You can really move the the gas through it. I also had a M/S redone and put that on my DC. Choke has also been removed which kind of makes it a pain to start when its cold out. $200 plus shipping. e-mail me at [email protected]

Barry, my DC has 47 hp with 4" stock flat tops, delco dist with electronic ignition and hot coil, 5505 head w/ 70 thous removed and carb reworked by Motec Enginerring for pulling. We ran this tractor on the dyno for 2 and 1/2 hours to break it in. Peak hp was 65 but fell flat in short order. Our first pull is saturday the 15th. We'll be pulling farm stock.
