Hi there, I am trying to find some information on a Case Baler, my father purchased some 6 months ago, we haven't really been able to find any information on it, and would appreciate it if you could help.

This is the information that he gave me:

J.I. Case Inc. Racine Wisconsin USA
Case Wire Tire Baler
Serial Number(?) 480671 Size(?) nl-sp

If you know anything about this thing please leave a post, really I think my dad just wants to know how much it's worth... but any info is welcome

thanks

I have pictures of an early case bailer we used in the late 40's in Eastern Iowa. The pictures are at http://ux1.cts.eiu.edu/~csjdn/farm/Grow2.htm

I may have an operator's manual I could copy for you. E-mail me direct to discuss.

Jim

how closely would the manual be to the baler that my father has? I will soon get pics up on the net and you can look at it for a better idea...

I believe the manual is for an NCM model with wire and gas motor. I will need to dig it up and look at it.

Best guess is it is a NCM pickup baler. Had to have two men to run . One on the left side to punch wires and one on the right hand side to tie the wires. powered by a wisconson v4 engine. As for as a value Who Knows? Can you e-mail me a picture of it?
