HI all I could really use some help the numbers on the tractor are trans G1096 Head G1148 Block 243R17420 model# 4030521
it is a factory fork lift or an outsource of a case tractor the motor is gas it has a m&s up draft carb
i need to order parts the motor needs a complete rebuild any help woild be good help i cant't find
a thing the local dealer has droped case for kabota i woild love to buy a manual for this machine Thanks to all that can help me the model number has the case logo on it an is off the dash at the back of the tractor there was a tag on the front but its gone pleas help thanks Andy

I can't say this will help but some of the 300, 300B & 400B series 148 cid engines use cylinder head G1148 (use G11909). The transmission case for 300B & 400B series is G1096 (use G13261). (The use nrs are p/n changes only.)

243R17420 is the engine assembly number. The 243 indicates the type of engine. The letter R is the sequence of the type 243 engine (I.E. 243Q is earlier, 243S is later). The 5 digits are the serial number of the specific engine in your machine.

There must be some way Case can I.D. the engine specifications using the the engine assembly number.

That's all the info I can come up with. Good luck, Joe
