Ok you guys, been following you for about a year.

Need to know the exact color for a 1945 Case SC

I just started having problems with the Case radiator. It is bubbling out the top of the fill cap. Looks like small bubbles in the coolant. Tractor does not run hot when worked. Idled tractor for 5 minutes, started to leak. Ran the tractor hard for an 1/2 hour, no leaking. ?????
Help.

Bubbles in the radiator indicate a cracked head or blown head gasket.

The bubbles cease when the engine warms up because the heat expands the head and closes up the crack.

Hopefully it is the head gasket but is more likely a minute crack in the head. The head will probably have to be magna flux to find it.

Bob,

The exact color for a 1945 Case SC is Flambeau Red. Are you asking for a paint code number? Lots of info in the archives about the numbers for various manufacturer's paint colors.

With regards to the radiator foam over- I also refer you to the archives:
