990 headgasket ad4 47a /55

Have not been able to find replacement ad4 47a engine to replace my cracked block. got back tonight to find the gasket kit i ordered came in for a 55 engine. "old" gasket was a copper clad made in England by cooper gasket(i'm pretty sure the fellow that sold me the tractor had just tried to seal the block with this copper gasket). the received gasket was a fiber with steel rings made by Herschel-adams. i'm checking the engine with a flashlight, but to tell you the truth, neather gasket seems to cover all spaces or allow access to all block passages. what gives? will the 55 head gasket fit the 47a? Thanks for any thoughts.

The case part number for the AD4/47 head gasket is K262772. You should be able to get from your local CaseIH dealer. If not we have plenty in stock here in UK

You need the proper gasket for the 47 engine. I should have one in stock.
