Those 16.9's you have on the back...Are the rims the factory SC ones? Just wondering. The tires don't look too crowned.

I understand more than you might think. While Dad had a Case SC Grandpa had an F-20, H, utility 300, 656, and a utility 574. Uncle Mike had a C, MTA, utility 300, 706 and 886. Today my cousin still uses Grandpa's 656 - it has been his for 30 years and he uses old red tractors to keep his costs down. His fleet consists of the 656 and 886, 1066, 1466 one of each. He his on his third green combine - a 1994 9400. Previous green combines were 6600 and 6620.

I grew up on a '51 Super C. Wish I had it back. That was the first real tractor we owned. Before that it was horses and a homemade job out of a Model A Ford. Can't say as I miss those horses much. My cousin still has the old home made tractor.

It is before my time but they only had the F-20 for several years. They worked ground with it and pulled a two-row corn planter with horses. They boys (Dad, Uncle Mike) on the F-20 could not keep ahead of Grandpa on the planter. He could check row 20 acres in a day. We still use a four-row JD 7000 planter and 50 acres in a day is about the limit we can do. My Grandad was the hardest working person I ever knew, especially building fence. He ususally did that in August when the crops were too mature to cultivate. He had a light stroke in 1978 driving steel fence posts in 95 degree weather when he was 77 and did not even know anything was wrong until his mouth was pulled over a little the next morning. The doctor made him slow down then but he was active until his death at age 90 in 1991.
