I was wondering what the major differences were between a 500 and 600. I seem to remember reading that one was much more rare than the other. Also, were there many gas models of these - I mostly see diesels for sale. Is one lighter than the other?

Also, is a 451 block the same size and will it bolt in pretty easily? Do gas heads fit on 451's as a direct bolt up, or don't the wholes allign? Ought to be able to get about 550 cubes out of a 451 without too much problem for a pretty strong ride I'd think.

You see where I'm going with this don't you :) Looking for a possible project for the 2005 season.

The 600 Big case is a very rare tractor. Approx. 1500 or so produced. They only came with a diesel or LP gas. The LP gas version is the way i would go for pulling.
Email me i may be able to help you out, diesel or gas.
I have a strong diesel puller 8000 to 12000 lbs, almost ready to put out a 900ci plus 600 on LP!
I currently have a 610 Lp for sale with a M&W Kit.
