case 910 B Hyd Fluid

I just obtained a 910 B, 1959 case LP tractor. The original manual of 1959 says automatic transmission fluid for the Hyd system but is the times of the book and is Hydrilic fluid ok for 2007. Any concerns you coulod share on the tractor? it apears to run great but i am just starting. is the Pto durable? is the Hydrilics powerful enough to do anything??? I cut off 3 inches off the muffler to get it in my shed, is that ok or any negitive concerns i should know.??
I also have a ford 4000 tractor for sale.

I use a good grade hydraulic fluid in my 910. My recommendation would be IH hytran or equal. Only thing is leave the clutch engaged when idling tractor. If not I here you can take bearing out of pto. Now the 930's had a bearing in transmission top shaft that would go out if it was used in a stationary position, have not heard of this on the 900.
