Drove it home from Sky's place with him following me. It didn't give me any problems but there's a few things I'm a little suspicious of. If I can't trust it, I'm not sure I want it around.
Probably sell it. Tired of sending good money after bad.
Any takers?

Les,
I've been reading all your posts for a long time now, but I don't quite recall off the top of my head how you got the name "Lazarus" for your SC. Just curious is all. Too bad you're not wanting to keep it after all the time, work and money you have put into it, but sometimes you just gotta do what you feel is right, I guess. Maybe if you do some tooling around on it for a little while you could feel differently and decide to keep it? Or then again, maybe not... If you decide to sell it, I hope you make out allright on it. Best of luck either way.

An SC is a pretty simple tractor. What red flags are you seeing? Glenn F.

It's more what I'm feeling under my feet and hearing (clunk, clunk). I think I'm going to advertise it.

Les,
I know what you mean. We had a Gleaner combine that was just a lemon. My Dad stuck money into that thing like crazy to the point that he thought nothing else could go wrong-but it always did. We could never harvest more that 10 acres without a bearing failure or other major breakdown. Just couldn't trust it.
