There is no need on this site for Tiochfaidh Ar Lah.

This is a statement which is used frequently by Sinn Fein/IRA, meaning our day will come. This is offensive to the people of Northern Ireland

John, No offense was meant by the comment, but it does seem that everyone these days is getting offended by every little thing someone else says. Trust me, it was not an attack directed towards anyone, so please don't go getting all defensive.

The statement's origin is true, but was coined (from what I was told)in the hopes that the day will come when the nation is united once again.. But enough on that off topic subject.. I hope everyone had a great St. Patty's and ironic it is, that the cause for the celebration is the spreading of christianity to Ireland. Just hope there isn't too many folks "praying to the porcelin" this morning after one too many green beers last night. -Mark

ya know, Chances are better than not that a guy laughing about an old green Case on St. Patricks day probably isn't advocating support of the IRA by using an ancient expression.

Maybe I'm wrong but it seems these days almost anything you say can be deemed offinsive to someone. So I try to think of it in context- he might just be a delusional JD fan waiting for his day to come...(grin)

But in the meantime- Happy St. Patricks day to ALL! Here's to ya!
