I am in the process of restoring a 1945 Case LA. The tractor had been sitting for a number of years with the exhaust elbow open to the rain and snow. On a previous overhaul, M&W add POWR 4 3/4" overbore pistons and sleeves were used. I have the engine completely disassembled now and am in need of one sleeve and piston. #3 sleeve has a vertical crack and the piston was damaged in the process of removing it. The other 3 buckets will clean up and hold a new set of rings I think. I would really like to find a good used 4 3/4" overbore sleeve and piston for this tractor. The pistons are aluminum and have the M&W part number AP 224-6 casted in the wrist pin area of the skirt. It is a domed piston, looks like a bread loaf with the center fallen, 3 compression rings 3/32", top one chrome, and 1 oil ring 1/4".

I am also looking for a waterpump and a set of rings with the above specs.

The bottom end of this engine looks really good considering its age and number of years it has been sitting.

Any help from the board would be appreciated.

Thank You in advance.
