A guy has one for sale near here....I looked it up on the pictures page, and there's isn't one....I think this was the replacement for the VA series tractor. It only has 2 cubic inches more than the VA, but is rated at 31 pto hp, where the VA is only rated at 12 pto hp. Mush have bumped up the rpm's a bit to get that kind of output....Anybody know anything about this tractor, what to watch out for etc, etc? thanks

Found one this winter that had been in a barn for about 8 or 10 years. New fuel lines and a little clean up and it starts and runs like it's new. Had to buy new grill screens for it. Metal is near perfect. PTO and hydraulics work excellent. These little tractors are really cute. I guess I need to sell it to complete other projects. Email me if you're interested. Would restore REALLY easily.

Art,

The 211 was about 500 rpm faster than the vac and the stroke a little longer. I think you could say the 200 was a modernized vac. The 200 was the first case tractor to have a 3 point hitch available as an option. you could get it with the eagle hitch or the swinging 3 point. It didn't have the draft control though. Good little engine.

Not too many of the 200 series around. I have a 210B. Its a great little tractor. There are a couple pics in the photo archives that should give you an idea what the tractor is---look for "200B" instead of 211.

Hi mike, I was looking at the data book last night, and saw that they were only made for two years. like 57-58, or 58-59....Do you know anything else about them? Whats their rpm,s rated at? I would guess that to do more than double the hp output, would require an increase in perportion w/ the rpm's...thanks Art

third party image

The I&T service manual lists the loaded RPMs at 1900, high idle no load at 2050. I think the 211's came with either an adjustable front axle or tricycle. Mine has the non-adjustable axle & a loader. It will get a paint job this summer.

If you buy that 211, take a good pic and post it.

Hi Mike. What size rear tires are on that guy? Look to be about 24's, or 28's I would guess.

The rear tires are 13-24. They look big compared to pictures of other 200's I've seen. Maybe because its a utility model instead of general purpose..... ?

the 211b I went to look at today had 13.2x28 on the rears. All in all it was in prety good shape...Had been converted w/ a 12 v alt, so that meant that ther had to lose the air cleaner...also low range didn't work, or it worked very weakly in 1st gear, and didn't work at all in any of the other gears, just bogged down and stalled....Three point hitch worked well...Not a bad looking tractor...the guy wanted too much money for it though...Art
