1965 530CK with 188D motor leaks fuel into crankcase! Is it coming from fuel pump or injector pump? Any help greatly appreciated.

John, There is no fuel transfer pump , it is a
gravity system . Most likely place for fuel to get into
engine is the drive shaft seals on the injector pump drive shaft . Set timing before removing inj pump , slide pump off of shaft , remove old seals and with proper tools install new seals and with other
tool install pump back on drive shaft and time
the pump. Seals are low budget (several dollars apiece).

George,

My friends buddy works on case tractors and said the job is no big deal. Manual says you need tool to squeeze down seals. That I couls see, but what tool would you need to put pump back on shaft? It looks like you go slow and easy, haha
and she slides right in as long as seal don't pull back. thanks for your replies.

John
