Would like to no from the case tractor gentlemen what kind of $$ a Case 530 with loader should approx. go for??
Havent herd it run yet, assuming it runs good.
Could use 1 rear tire.
Sheet metal and paint look original and nice.
Loader looks in good shape,(model case 31 )
Has gas motor, (not sure of H.P.)
Has P.T.O.and 3 point.
Overal looks like normal to little used tractor.
Has new exhaust, standard transmission.
What is the H.P.?
Reliable tractor?
Hard to get parts?
Idea of year?
Will here it run this week and find out price. Thanks for any info. Craig....

Hello,
I have similar tractor, no pto or 3-point. Has #31 hoe instead, I think its great. The tractor will probably be a 540H since its gas powered. This is a Utility tractor and is lower to the ground than a General Purpose model. Ask if the parts manuals come with it. Not all parts are available from Case and parts manuals come in handy when you need something. Many parts will interchange with older Utility tractors. I think it could sell for as much as $5000. Built from 1960 through 1969. Probably has a shuttle on the left and dual-range on the right. Should have a solid front axle with one assist cylinder. Tractor model & serial tag should be on right side of dash. email me if you have questions, I may have an answer.
Good luck, Dennis..... ..

I have a 530 gas model and it is an excellent tractor. Has all the power you need for brush hogging, etc. I wish mine had a loader also. It has a lot more than 28 horsepower though. I think it is more in the 40 to 45 horsepower range.

You are right JRT, I was thinking 430 not 530 for some reason and said the horsepower for that tractor. The 530 is 36 drawbar and 40 PTO in gas models I believe.

Worth about $3,000 if you ask me, loader about $400 by itself(around here anyway)but it needs a rear tire (about $200). They are a excellent tractor and most parts are still available from a Case-IH dealer, and a fair amount of aftermarket sources. They are 28 drawbar and 32 PTO horsepower I believe. They were made 1960-1969. Hope this helps!
