Don, I've been thinking of you all weekend, My dad is 87 and in good health, But at that age things can and often do happen quickly. From the sounds of it you had a close relationship with your dad. That is the best this world has to offer. I don't know where you stand spiritually, but God has everything under control. Someday soon this whole mess will be over with. Stay close to Jesus.

Don, Sorry to hear of your Fathers passing. It's always hard to loose a family member. I was back in Austin just three years ago to bury my Father down in Forest City, IA. God's speed to you and yours through this difficult time. Miss him but let him go.

89, Wow. Our prayers are with you and your family. It is tough when they go suddenly and unexpected. Both of my parents went the same way and each in their early 80's. It was tough but looking back it was better than watching them linger and suffer. Again, our prayers are with you. Lew Van Vliet

Sorry to of your loss Don I just lost my own mother and father in the last two years, Dad was 96 and Mom was 93, married for 76 years and raised 8 kids through the depression. Maybe we have some of those genes????? ??I'm sure they're resting now.
