SC hydraulics advice

My '52 SC is running now and the only bad thing hanging out there still is cleaning up the hydraulics. The tractor sat for about 20 years with a line missing on the hydraulic pump. It's a dual valve type with Eagle hitch. The lower left line was missing and when I got the tractor running, I hit the hydraulic control and a load of milky oil came out. Which port is this and have I done more damage by running the tractor before cleaning the hydraulic system. How would you all suggest I properly clean the hydraulic system? Are there any delicate valves that may be rusty from the watered down oil? I'm hoping to get the old girl back to work this summer doing some mowing... Thanks

What you explained is not unusual. If there was any damage done it would have been done by the water freezing in the system. If it was mine I would drain the system, clean the filter, put 2 gallons of diesel fuel in, run it for 10 minutes, drain and clean filter, and add new oil. Nothing to loose in trying. Any damage was most likely done before you ever moved it. LOL

Thanks.... I looked up how to service the filter in my original manual. Can you still get them?
