Pete:

Sorry. Long night. Got turned back after an hour out of LA for a mechanical. Got home late-late.

I cannot find the dimensions that others sent me, but I measured what I built, and posted a print below. I have about 12 other photos that Steve sent me of his bracket. If they would be helpful, I'd be glad to send them along to you.

Thanks Frank I think you drawing will work good for me. I just have one question, is the bracket offset to one side of the tractor I saw the holes are not the same distiance from the ends? I appreciate your time in this it sounds as though you cover a lot of ground, must be a long haul truck driver, Team driver? Line Haul? My wife and I team drove for CR England in their specilized divison Line Haul doubles for GI trucking in LA mostly coast to coast 48 to 54 hrs. Got Old after a while.
Thanks PETE

No, actually I'm a computer systems consultant, and I fly every week. Right now I'm working at NASA at the Jet Propulsion Lab in Pasadena. Sure cuts into a fella's quality tractor time!

Yes, the bar is offset so that the left side lamp sits outside of the muffler elbow. Otherwise a lot of the light from it would be blocked.

Good luck on it!

Frank
