A friend of mine has a Model D case on steel and can't find the serial number of the tractor. Could anyone tell us the exact location of the serial number.Thanking you in advance.

If the tag is not on the dash or the tool box, check the left engine flange right by the air cleaner. If its one of the real early ones its on the right rear of the engine block just below #4 spark plug . hth
