I noticed that we have a couple of new features on the board... and I wanted to try them out.

Obviously, I'm not going to "report (myself) to moderator"- but I'm curious what that "delete" button does.

Does it give the poster of the message the chance to delete and do-over? Or can anybody stroll along and nix a message or thread?

Let's find out... (test)

Hi Tom,

I tried to use my name and password that I use on the Tractor Registry... but it didn't work.

It could be that the delete function is only for the site moderator, or that we have to setup our own password.

I e-mailed Kim. I'm sure she will explain how it works soon.

Hi Mike. The two links are something I had in the works, but were hurried along last weekend after a severe "troll" attack.

It's been a long time coming - but I hope to appoint moderators for each forum that will be able to use the delete button to remove inappropriate posts. The forums have gotten to large for me to respond to problems as quick as I would like to.

For now, I'm the only one with the ability to use the "delete" button, but I hope to be able to look for volunteers soon.

The other link is to give non-moderators an easy way to let the moderator know they feel a message post made require attention.

Kim
