I've run across a paper hat that I'd like to know if theres any connection to the old Wallis/Case familys. Its a hat styled like the military or Boy Scouts that you would fold and drape across your pants belt like you see them do in the movies. Only this is a paper hat for hygeine while working around food.
Its a white hat with large red lettering on both sides advertising the "WALLIS - CASE DAIRY".
Smaller print underneath says "POPLAR BLUFF, MISSOURI"
Weren't Wallis tractors built by the J.I.Case Plow Works? Did this company also run a Dairy on the side, just as old J.I. had horse farms?
Grasping at straws here, but just wondering if theres an actual connection or just a coincedence.

Two men in Poplar Bluff, MO., one named Ott Wallis and the other named Frank Case. Owned and operated a dairy in the 40's and 50's.

I have no idea about a conection ,but if you REALLY want to find out (because i am sure if there is a conection it would be worth more) i would get in contact with the poplar bluff town records. There should be something on file you would think ,business ,tax records ,deeds something.

Not sure about that one but there were Case relatives that lived out here in CA. They even had some farmland around Bakersfield that went with the sale of Case so then Tenneco formed Tenneco West which was their farming corporation.

Wallis tractors were made in Racine, Wis, I suspect it's some other Wallis. Unless it's got the trademark name with the line accross the top.
