Just got off the phone with a guy over in Vermont, not 50 miles from me, who has a bunch of SCs (and many other Cases as well), including one of the earliest and one of the latest ones made. Told him my problem with the rocker arms. He's all enthusiastic to help me and Sky get it running. Even wants to come over to our tractor show in July. Turns out he has a time share at a condo within hollering distance of Sky's house.
Parts guys at the dealership I was at today put me onto him. Maybe this is my lucky day.

Les, is the guy with SC from Dorset VT area I was out that way last spring and saw an incredible colection of all colors with many of them Cases.
Although I can't remember if there were SC's. I think it was something like Dorr Oil Co on route 30 headed towards NY state. Chuck MA

Nope. He lives in Fairlee, just across the river from Orford, NH.

There's no friends like tractor friends. Today I was at our Fleet Farm(a huge 'everything a man could want' store) and the fellow in front of me had an Allis Chalmers hat on. We got to talking and he was telling me about his '48 C (16 HP). I told him a bit about my Cases. When we got out in the parking lot my kids asked me who that man was. Oh just a fellow tractor lover. "Man dad, it seemed like you knew him." We then had a nice discussion on the way home about all the nice people I've met through my tractor fedish. SIGNED...one happy old iron lover Glenn F.!
