Just got a set of them from the dealer. All this time trying to figure out how to cob something together and come to find out the parts are still available. Duuurrrr.

Those "buttons" ain't what I needed after all. It's the piece that's on the other end of each rocker, the part that actually pushes on the valve. Can anyone help?

How worn are they? If their not wore too bad grind them flat, we do it all the time.

I don't get it. If they're already worn out, why would you file/grind them off further?

Les, Are you talking about the part of the rocker
arm that makes contact with the valve stem ? If
so , and they have a very small amount wear , regrind them . If they are worn badly I build them up with a fusible powder spray torch and then grind back to size and shape.

Les ,

The powder I use is about 60 rockwell C scale , it won't wear out again for many many hours running (years). If you can't find someone up there to do it ,send them down , it doesn't take long to
do a set .
