An 1175 on e-bay with P/Shift. I was sure they only came with the straight 8 speed. Any comment?

An 1175 is, by definition, an 8 speed. If it's powershift it's an 1170

Neither the 1170 or 1175 ever had power shift from the factory.

We had a customer bring in a tractor that he claimed was an 1175 in the front and something else in the rear[970 or 1070]. I'm sure it was a power shift. Maybe this is that tractor. It was white with no cab. Located in south central Illinois.

Just as I was about to submit my lenghty editorial on this question AOL dropped me. So this time will be less! Certainly this undisputed expert has never heard of an 1175 with powershift. It is a great tractor. The closest thing to the indistructable 30 series dual range series. LEON C. and I are in agreement; if your tractor needs more than 8 forward speeds you are working it too hard. Big repair bucks began when dual range stopped! Too bad they had the planetaries! I think I speak for most on this site. Glenn F.

No such critter - that was the one thing that set them apart - standard 8 speed tranny & planetaries.

In my 30year plus working for JIC,including numerous factory runs and seeing Cases own museum and archives I never ran across an 1175 with P/s,parts book only shows standard, must be typo error on e-bay thanks

My neighbor bought an 1175 several years ago that he thought he got a tremendous deal on-until I told him that it was an 1170 painted white-not a happy camper. My point is almost anything is possible.
