I am trying to find out if anyone has any experience with these and is aware of any problems to "WATCH OUT FOR"?
The machine is in excellant shape, no body damage, regularly routine maintenance, no welds, no leaks, all parts there, runs well, all works.
I am looking at one and the owner "feels" it will need brakes. He stated that in the very cold weather they don't brake very easily.
I know that "wet systems" take a while for them to "warm up" and during very cold weather they "appear" to not be working correctly and it takes a while for the fluid to warm up and work well.
Does anyone have any input on this issue and / or any other experience with the 1980 Case 580ck?
Thanks, Chuck

If it's a 580 ck it's not a 1980. The last 580 ck was made in either 1970 or 71. After that they go to b-c-d etc.
