380CK Starting Question

I am looking at purchasing a 380CK and was told by the owner that it has no glow plugs so to start it in cold weather it needs a shot of either. I have not owned a diesel tractor so I am curious if this is the case with all diesels that do not have glow plugs or am I being mislead. Also, if anyone knows whether they did make a 380 with glow plugs as an option I would like to know. Thanks for any help.
Best,
Neal

Dennis:
Where would I find this Thermo start on the machine? Also, how do you like the 380? Thanks

I have a 380 CK Loader landscaper, mine has a thermostart. Basically it pulls fuel into the manifold and burns it to heat the manifold up and heat the intake air prior to the cylinder head. This works pretty good in cold weather. The only time i have had problems getting mine started was the day it was about 5 deg. F.
