18.4 tire on larger rim

Can I put a 18.4x34 tire on a rim that has 20.8x34 tires on it now? I think the rim for 18.4 tire is suppose to be 16" wide and the rim for the 20.8 tire is 18" wide.

We have a set of Firestone 151s on 20" rims on a 930 Case. They work GREAT and do they ever hook up.The first time I pulled with them we left our weights the same as with the old tires and I pulled a wheelie I'll bet that was 4 feet high. You will not be disappointed.

Sure, no problem. The ends of the bars will bite a little better, and the diameter might be just a little smaller though.
