Hello,

I have a 73 580 CK that is working fine. I have come into a 55 gallon drum of hydraulic R&O fluid. I was thinking of flushing the entire hydraulic system out. The tractor and hoe attachment are kept next to a creek and are in a high humidity environment. I was looking around on the frame and couldnt see a place to drain the fluid from. Is there an alternative to disconnecing a hose and then flushing to a drum?

Thanks for any help.

JOE, On my 530 CK the FEL frame is the TANK and
has a DRAIN under the RH side. I assume you also check & fill the fluid level on the FEL frame.

Hope this Helps,

There was a plug on the return under the frame. I removed it an let my 10 gallons of joy/water drain out. It was a mess. Glad it was changed. The pump seemed to quiet down now.
