I have a late model VAC and am wondering where did they mount the SW hourmeter under the dash?

--On narrow dash models (VA, VAO, VAH and VAI) the bracket (angle iron) mounted to the left top steering column mounting bolt. On VAC and VAS tractors having the wide dash the bracket attached to the bottom left of dash with 2 pre-punched holes.-- This according to J.I. Case Manual #Rac258. There are pics of both which I will scan and post in next few days. I also have a VAC with the hourmeter on it and will snap a photo of that as well.

third party image

Here's the 'narrow-dash' mounting. Click the link to see a larger view (click the image then 'original' in next window) and the 'wide-dash' mount.

the only Va series that had an hour gauge as an option was the VAI,I believe. That also had a horn under the hood as an option....Happy new year to you....
