I had the pleasure meeting three people this week. Two of which are regulars on this page and the son of one. Met Tom Graverson (DCTom) and Doug Franks and son. If any of you have a chance to meet these fellas i'm sure they would be more than willing to talk awhile. My son and I traveled 250 plus miles to meet Tom. Only talking on computer before meeting. He made us feel right at home. I'd be proud to call all these fellas my FRIENDS. Dave & Derrick S.

Hey, your exactly right. Theres lots of good folks on here and its great to get a chance to meet 'em.

I've met quite a few of the people on here at various tractor shows and have made visits by their way and had them come by here as well. The furthest I've met folks was 1100 miles away in Almelund last year when I met Terry Nelson, Bruce Nelson and "parts guru" Don Livingston.

I rarely go to a show these days that I don't see someone from this board in attendance. I've had a few people walk up and talk with me after figuring out who I am from whats on the board or seeing pictures of my old iron.

As for visitin, Me and "The Great Mike Schotte" went out on a recent iron hunt to the down Austin way and after looking at what must have been gold plated under all the rust, we ventured on down to see RobertTX. We had a great visit that included the nickel tour, a test drive on a fine 500 Diesel, a cold drink and chewed enough fat to make any Eskimo jealous. Thanks Robert!

Anytime anyones coming to central Texas to a show, holler up and see who'll be there. Just look where ever theres unstyled iron and I'll be close by. If your just passing through let me know and drop in for a visit. Just bring some spare ears with ya, I'm liable to talk the first set clean off!
