I figure that if any of you like low houred tractors as much as I do you would appreciate hearing about the 930 Western Special LP tractor I found with 1080 original hours. When I first looked at the tractor I thought it had been restored. The son of the original owner said he didn't think it ever spent a night outside. He said they were farming with souped up 99 Olivers, and bought the 930 new. It wouldn't pull the eqt the 99's would so it didn't get many hours. It was the only tractor they ever bought new, so they kept it around until now. Just shows that there are still some nice original ones left.

I just purchased a 930 diesel comfort king with 1001 original hours on it. Unfortunately it did spend a few days outside as it has a few rough spots on it.

That is a great find. A saleman told me once you can't put too much money in an original mint tractor. So don't think you gave too much. The tractor is not replaceable. JR

Hi Bob, I sure would love to see some pics of her too. Where did you find her & how much did you have to give? Thanks Jeff.

I found it in Western KS. I had bought some MM's from the guy and thought he was out of tractors. He asked me if I might be interested in a 930. I know 930's in this part of the world are plentiful, but said I would look at it. He took me to an old farmstead and the 930 was in an old outbuilding. When I first looked at it I thought it had been painted. After the guy telling me the story, and assuring me it hadn't been painted, I realized he was telling me the straight poop on the tractor. It is a beautiful original tractor. The unfortunate part was it was very sentimental and cost like heck. Oh well, hard to find an old Wheatland with 1080 hours. I will send some pictures tonight.

Does it have round or flat top fenders? My son would love to have one with flat top fenders.

This tractor has the flat top fenders. It is in close to mint condition. If you can email me with your address I can send some pictures.
