I'm putting together a show quality agriculture SC Case. Which type front end is considered most desirable? Most rare? Thanks, Lars

I may get corrected but the series is designated S. The mdoel SC was a narrow front, the C indicating "crop" for row crop tractor. Hence the SO was an orchard tractor, the O for "orchard". The S with no other letter was a wide front tractor and the SI was a widefront with a foot throttle and other slight modifications to the dash (position of PTO lever, etc)

Yes, you will have to stand corrected on this one Todd. The SC was available with both adjustable and fixed tread wide front, single wheel and dual wheel tricycle. SC-3 with wide front adjustable in my opinion is the most desirable. The SC-4 with fixed tread and short wheelbase would be the least common. The single front SC-3 was favored for cultivating sugar beets and vegetable crops... Gene

Yes, that is correct. I forgot about the -3 and -4 configurations. I knew when I was typing the reply that I was missing something.
