I guess I picked the wrong words for the title last time. Still looking for information on a Case two row corn picker. Its a pull behind with a transmission in the pto drive. Possibly early 50's late 40's. Number on name tag is "IS8000116". Some parts are missing and don't know what else is gone. Just looking for a parts manual or picture guide to put it back together.

Thank You
Bob

I have a parts manual for Model I and IR two row cornpickers. I also have dealer sales manual for I, IR, and IS cornpickers. The S stands for sheller. Let me know how I can help. Merry Christmas!

Hi John,

I would like a copy of the IS sales manual. I don't know how much the sheller would add to the machine but maybe a copy of the parts manual of the I or the IR would be nice also.
My e-mail is [email protected] Let me know how much to copy and mail.

Thanks and Marry Christmas
Bob

Bob, I can only give info from C.H Wendels book. The model IS was introduced in 1939 as a picker-sheller and produced till 1958. If this is what you are looking at does it have a hopper for the shelled corn? Said it was good for yeilds of 70-100 bushel per acre. Cost $1536 in 1955. Shows it being pulled by a 400 in the picture. Doesn't give much other info about it.

Hi John, Yea that sounds like the one. It has a hopper up high on the side. I'll go back to the library and order the book again as they don't have it here in town.

Thanks
Bob

Can't give you much info on Case corn pickers or shellers. The only unit I had any first hand experience with was the mounted unit they sold for the Dc in 53. This was a snapper only which left the husks on. We had New Idea from the middle 50's into the 70's when brother switched to JD and then combines.
