Tractor makes a terrific noise when engine starts and noise only deminishes some when warmed up.It sounds like air in hydraulic system or a relief valve working.Transmission is in green area on gauge until clutch pedal is depressed at which time the noise stops.Gauge needle falls to the red danger area and then recovers to green area and noise starts again when clutch is released. When shifted into gear needle falls to red and recovers only a slight amount.Tractor moves ahead only , w/out full power.Reverse does not work at all. This problem has been growing for some time.Reverse previously was OK after warm up but now has no power since tractor set for about 90 days without running.Noise is always increasing.I am uncertain of fill plug location for caseoomatic and cannot find my op. manual. Also;is there an filter anywhere in the system? Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks

Chief, the oil dipstick & fill for the power shuttle is the hex head dipstick thats on the plate just ahead of the 4 speed shifter cover. It takes Case TCH fluid or equivalent.
There is a power shuttle filter between the grill and the radiator. Its supposed to be changed every 240 hours. I do keep operator's manuals on the shelf if you want one, but it won't tell you any more on this particular subject.
Drop me a line or call 800 428 8183 if you need info...Dale
