Do you have to pull the loader to get the brake casting off?

No need to remove the loader to get the brakes off on your 430 CK. The large bolt in the center of the rear of the housing on the brake will interfere with the flange on the loader frame next to the axle. Just take a torch and notch the flange about an inch where the bolt wants to hit. The brake housing will come off. The later tractors had notches in the flanges from the factory.
