I think the loader on the SI in Old Abes News is a Trackson. I have pictures of one like it on a GC Trackson Crawler. When my computer wiz wife has time I will try to email pictures to you. Let me know what everyone else thinks. Later DKase

Sorry John but I was wrong. I got to digging through some of my old Case related brochures and found your loader. It was made by White Manufacturing Company of Elkhart Indiana. I have a 4 page brochure of the loader shown on a DI from 1941. That's a neat loader! It looks like it lifts to a certain point and then the booms extend or slide ahead for more reach. 42" bucket is standard, lifts 1200#, loader is about 7' tall, and will dump into a truck that is 7'6" high. Any other good puzzles for us?

I looked at an old Case SI in Mass., a couple of months ago, and it had a Lull loader on it. The loader was put on by the R.R. company when new. It had a realy large counter weight on the back of it that was made of diamond plate, and was filled w/ concrete...Hope this helps....

Hey D.Kase; Neither me nor my distinguished panel here have ever heard of Trackson, but we appreciate the info. I should forward it to Dave, or do you want to?

If you search the archives of this forum for Trackson you will find a picture of my GC Trackson Crawler. If you search the Tractor Photo's at the left for Case Crawler you will find a pic. of a CD.

I believe that trackson made kits for just about every tractor. I know they made them for the C and the L.

Hey DCTOM: The owner could never find the serial #. I told him where to look, and never heard afterward.
