I went to a farm auction the other day and there was about 20 red Farmall tractors, 3 Case, 3 AC, and a few Masseys lined up. There was several old parts tractors in the back. One of them was an old rusty, F-20 with a John Deere seat on it. I thought it was rather disgusting but I was glad that it wasn't on a Case tractor! LOL My friend Charlie who is a JD collector thought other wise. He told me that the seat was worth more than the tractor and it would probably bring more with the JD seat on it. I didn't stick around long enough to see this tractor sell and extend my condolences to the buyer for getting a JD seat with his parts tractor.

The parts tractor that I bought at auction came with a LAWN CHAIR for a seat!

I got two SC's at this auction- this one I refer to as the "Captain Kirk" due to the seating arrangement...

Hey! Where's the mag? (like the old Wendy's commercial - where's the beef?) Oh, I forgot. Those mean Texas ants will eat anything! :^)

Hey Frank-

Yeah, that one was pretty good. I should be able to have it running before long. Wicked patch in the water jacket, though.

Here's the OTHER one. The '45 is more of a "parts" tractor:

That lichen covered everything. I've said it before- but these were the GREENEST Case tractors I'd ever seen.

That lichen is fun when you hit it with the wire wheel!

Hey Mike, looks like your shed space is not keeping up with your collection! HA HA! Glad I don't have that problem!

That pic was taken at the tractor auction before I drug 'em home. That entire field was empty two days later.

My junk at home is a little more organized than that, but not much...
