Can anyone out there verify whether Case model DI-Narrow tread tractors ever had factory fenders on them? The original floor plates are bent up at 90 degree angle with mounting holes
along the sides where something could attach very
easily. No photos reveal any fenders. Anyone know
for sure? I don't want mount something stupid looking, but those rear tires sure do come close
to my legs!

Yes they did have fenders so to speak. i had cut down vac on minem not rigtht but looked ok, one in mikes picture look ok also, I think the real ones for DI were just flat steel bolted to holes in platform and a 1/2 " rod welded around them

I've never seen one of the narrow tread DI models.

The last (regular) DI that I saw had these fenders on it- they were just made out of plate steel, so I can't say whether or not they are home made or a factory item:

Hey Mike: How would you like to be the owner of a DINT? The guy I bought my GC from had 2 for sale last summer. I think I have pics around some where. Email me if interested. I'm sure you have my address.

Though Ive never seen a DI with them, the parts book I own shows what apears to be a small shell fender and list:
FENDERS PROIR TO TRACTOR 4915502
"Fenders for Model "DI" Narrow Tread Tractor"
Part# 2824AA Fender RH
Part# 2825AA Femder LH
Theres a picture to, well a drawing not a real pic.
Let me know it your interested, maybe i could scan the page for you.
