Hey D.Kase: I did some research. The Hyd. Pumps on the chain drive, & gear drive tractors turn in the same direction. Chain drives use top gear to drive, Gear drives use bottom gear to drive. The body & gears of the 800 & ect. tractors measures 7/8" thick. The SC & ect body & gears measure 1 1/4" thick. Bolt patterns the same. But it would make the pump & housing a different diminsion. It wouldn't bolt up without a spacer plate. Too bad cause the SC pump I have is like new.Imagine that, an SC pump has more GPM than the 800-830 pump.

You would have to change both gears and shafts to make it work. I do know the one coupler goes on with right hand threads, and the other with left hand. I have put a pump from a 930 std. in a DC. The 930 is quite a bit thicker than the DC. I fixed this by cutting off the coupler hub with the chain sprocket on it and cutting the notch into it at the right length. This can't be done on the 800 because all that is in there is that little thin drive lug. If you are going to fix one of those pumps look for one for an 830. They have replaceable wear plates that the older ones didn't have. Be very very fussy with the needle bearings and shafts. Good Luck

Hey D.Kase: All the pump No's for the SC-DC thru the 930 are the same. Should have been no difference, unless you went from a 15GPM to a 20GPM. I only ordered the body for the 800 pump. The 830 used both pumps, with & without plates.

The bodies without the wear plates can be surface ground to rebuild them. The shafts and needle bearings are the toughest part to work on. I've had trouble getting the needle bearings in right. Let me know how it all turns out. Later DKase
