Whats this about a Continental gas engine in a CASE 311?? I knew they used a Cont. Diesel. If the 311 used a Mag, it would have been the CASE "41" mag.

Case made the engine in the 311.

1. Case made 124 ci engine for the VAC.

2. Then made a similar 148 ci engine for 300 both series.

3. The 300, 300b, 400b,500b, 600b, 430,530, 630 to 600 combine same just different sizes.(148 ci to 201 ci)

NOTE THIS APPLIES TO GASOLINE ONLY

I don't know. Thats why I asked. Just wanted to know what engine was in the 311 for sure. I don't have any info on the 311 and it is not listed in any of my mag books or dist. books or tractor books. Figured it would have a Case mag but lots of Cont. had Fairbanks on them too. Burnell in back post had a question on one.
