If I have my VAC wired on negative ground, what happens when I switch it back to positive like it should be. Will I have to change anything else? Thanks

If you really want to change it back to org.
After you change wiring you will need to polarize the generator.

i have a 49 vac and i just started over with the delco alt and put a reis at the coil wired on neg ground and away we go !
