I have 2 DC's and an old neighbor gave me a tractor for parts that has been in the back corner of his shed for at least 40 years. He says it's a 38 or 39 DC that you sit higher up than the usual DC. Is this a DH, and is it worth restoring. Are most parts interchangable with a "regular" DC, is it worth anything when I'm done.

A 39 D had tall rubber clam fenders,a hand park brake and a generator between the mag and govener housing .Could it not be an early standard "D".I'm sure I read and seen pictures of these.Would be so much better plowing as draw bar is tooo low on a standard D if a soft spot is found!!

It could be a DCS high clearance. If so keep it and restore it instead of the DC cause it's rarer and worth MUCH more..

DCS will have drop housings on the end of the axles for the bull gears.

The difference between a DC-4 and a DH is that a DH does not have turning brakes. Does it have two brake pedals??
