830- convert from a narrow to a wide front

I have 2)830 com narrow front end tractors and I would like to convert one to a wide front. Years ago, one fell into a groundhog hole and is a little bent. I live in NW Indiana. Anyone have one for sale? What are they worth? How difficult to install? Different types? Do they both use the same gearbox? I am thinking of putting a loader on the wide front instead of the narrow front end. Another question, what tractors would a steering axle from a 600 or a 660 case combine fit?

Thank for your help
Tremayne

Do you want to sell one of the 830 cases? What year are they? I would be interested in trading a good 730 com gas with a wide front for an early model of this tractor. The front end change is easy and the steering box is not messed with. You remove the pedastal and the steering arm bolts to the gear box. I do not know where there is one for sale

when i changed mine i put the whole front end system on at once. only 4 big bolts and it falls off kinda. but i wanted to put rad hoses and get the rad checked.. remeber one thing if you do it this way.. be sure to hook your steering knuckle together befroe you bolt him up tite or you will have a small problem getting the @#%%&&**( back together. loosen all 4 bolts and spend a spell sliding the steering back together.. the brite side you can learn new 21 letter words. but you mite not want to take all the tin off to do it.but you could slap on some paint while you having so much fun.
