It was posted before that there was a Case DC with Propane, Duals and Adjustable Wide Front. It is my tractor and I am the one driving it on the comercial. I posted a picture of it in the tractor photo area under 1949 Case DC. Thanks for the interest and go out and buy a Classic Tractor Calendar and Video. Glad you enjoyed!!! Thanks to dctom for some of the propane parts and a lot of information. Mark Scherer

That is the first DC,besides my own, that I had ever seen up close and personal. I seen it at Alleman during the Farm Progress Show. Seems you had won a restoration contest put on by Chevron. I looked at it quite awhile to see what one was SUPPOSED to look like. Looks goood. It was the ONLY old Case there if I remember right.

Sweeet! That is really nice. Is the calendar you're in the Old Iron Calendar, or a different one. And where can I get a copy?

The name of the calendar is Classic Tractor Fever, I think you can order it by calling 1-800-421-5254 and ask for classic tractor customer service. If that doesn't work call John Harvey (Creator and Editor) at 1-800-888-8979. There is also a video that goes with the calendar. Thanks for the complement.

Mark: Ditto on the compliments. What a beautiful tractor! What all was involved in restoring it? What size rear tires? Glenn

Glenn, The DC has 12.4x38 Titan Tires on the back. Since we restored it for an FFA competition Titan Tires out of Des Moines, Iowa donated all six tires and rims. We tore the tractor all the way down, the transmission got all new bearings, seals and races, the engine got new rings, crankshaft was turned, and we ground the valves. All new oil lines made out of break lines and new guages from the JICCA. The entire tractor was sandblasted piece by piece. We used Dupont Centauri paint, sealer and acid etching primer.
