Hi, The pto on my 52 DC keeps running when turned off. The pto lever on this tractor is a T-bar type lever on left side under seat. I was told this wasn't original to the 52? Do they have a clutch or some type of sliding engagement? Let me know. Thanks, Dave S

You have a live PTO. It is not unusual for the shaft to spin even when disengaged. There is a disk clutch pack and there is enough friction even when disengaged to spin the shaft. It should however stop if it is hooked up to something or if you put your foot on it. If it doesn't stop then you should adjust the clutch pack. (Later Cases had PTO brakes to stop the spinning)
